Take a Spin on the Pottery Wheel

Have you ever wanted to try throwing clay on a pottery wheel? Grab your partner or your partner-in-crime and spin something memorable on the potter’s wheel!

Join us for creativity and connection. You’ll experience the joy of shaping clay on the potter’s wheel, learning the basics of this timeless craft.

This class is designed for beginners 18+ OR 13+ with an accompanied paying adult

Start out with Pottery 101, creating a simple pinch pot, using just your hands and clay.

After you’ve undoubtedly mastered the basics, we’ll introduce the speed and excitement of the potter’s wheel. Feel the energy transition from the slow, deliberate pace of hand-building to the dynamic rhythm of wheel-throwing.

We will fire up to two pieces, as a keepsake for your special night. You will pick a glaze color and leave your pots with us and, of course, we will take care of them as if they were our own!

Your pots will dry slowly, go through two firings and then you will be notified that they’re ready to be picked up. This process could take 4+ weeks and we do not guarantee perfect pots only perfect memories! Some pots may crack and/or have imperfections in their final states.
